Made X Hudson is a pair of sustainable-fashion boutiques — in Catskill NY and Hudson NY — and an apparel and soft goods manufacturer, also in Catskill. We are on a mission to revitalize the garment industry in the region. Our workplace goals are about a continuous learning of new techniques to optimize efficiencies, while balancing a quality of life for everyone on the team. Marketing Manager

We are seeking a person (or persons) to manage our marketing and online initiatives. We want to talk to creative and highly detail-oriented individuals with a range of skills, at whatever point in your career. You must be a team player who is both knowledgeable and passionate about slow fashion and small business. We are open to flexible full-time or multiple part-time positions, depending on the right candidates, but you must live in the Hudson/Catskill area, Upstate New York, and be able to routinely work in person in our Catskill headquarters.

Following is a short list of all the responsibilities we are looking to fill, whether with one or more people. So along with your resume and work samples, please send us an email cover letter with an overview of which combination of these skills you possess and think you're the right candidate for, and why—

• Marketing calendar management: Developing and managing the creation of content, promotions and ads across platforms.
• Copywriting: For everything from ads to on-site promotions to blog posts and newsletters.
• Social media management: Good ideas along with solid understanding of platform best practices re formats, etc. (Primarily Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok)
• New inventory monitoring: Work with the inventory team to be in-the-know about what's new and figure out how best to promote it
• Site management: Manage the roll-out and display of inventory and promotions on our website and within the Shop app.
• Photography: Style and shoot high quality (iPhone) images for use across all platforms and promotions.
• Newsletter: Produce and send bi-monthly emails (using and/or upgrading existing template). 
• Monitor outcomes of all efforts, assess and share

In your cover letter, please include whether you’re looking for part-time or full-time work, along with your salary requirements. Intermediate - Advanced Stitcher and/or Alterations Staff

As an intermediate to advanced stitcher, you would be joining our production team, working on cut-and-sew woven projects, ranging from napkins to apparel.

Job Requirements:

  • Expert experience with industrial sewing machinery; if you only have home sewing experience, then we only have apprentice and internships available.

  • At least 3-5 years experience in apparel and/or soft goods construction

  • Have a willingness to learn new techniques and have a mindset to work towards fast production goals

  • We are team oriented, kind, and patient

  • Sample making experience is a plus

Location: Catskill, NY

Hours: 18 - 40 hrs/week (at least 2-3 days/week - ideally 5 days)

Compensation & Benefits: $16 - 24/hr depending on experience ; Performance Bonuses; Healthcare Options Available

Sales Associate

We are seeking sales associates for both our Catskill and Hudson shops. Primary role will be managing inventory and sales. Secondary role will be assisting with merchandising and maintaining appearance of the shop. Some light lifting of boxes and mannequins will be part of the role. Bonus if you can take good iPhone photos and/or are willing to appear in product shots. 

Location: Catskill, NY and/or Hudson, NY

Hours: 18 - 35 hrs/week (at least 2-3 days/week)

Compensation: $16-20/hr starting pay, commensurate with experience; 15% off store products; opportunities for performance based commission

We are always seeking motivated students who want to learn how garment manufacturing production works. Credit and/or paid opportunities available depending on experience.

Location: Catskill, NY

Hours: 18 - 35 hrs/week (at least 2-3 days/week)
