Alterations
When clothes fit you properly, you’ll love them, care for them and wear them for years. Our sewing team in Catskill can help with everything from a simple hem to a full refit, including bridal and formal wear. We alter any garment, wherever you bought it.
How it works
- Book a 15-minute fitting consult at our Catskill atelier (391 Main St, Catskill, NY) using the calendar below. Appointments are Monday–Wednesday.
- Pay a $15 deposit when you book. It’s non-refundable and goes toward the cost of your alteration.
- Bring your garment, plus the shoes and undergarments you’ll wear with it, so we can pin and measure for the right fit.
- We’ll give you a quote and timeline, then get to work. Current lead time is 3–4 weeks; rush service is available for an additional 20%.

Final pricing depends on the fabric and construction of your garment. Zipper replacements may take longer if a new zipper needs to be sourced. Special projects are quoted at your appointment. Alteration questions: production@madexhudson.com.

Custom garments
Want something made just for you? We bring clothing ideas to life, from a single cherished piece or a wedding look to a small run of something original. Recreating a favorite garment you can’t find anymore is the most affordable path, and something we do often.
Custom garments start at $2,500. Pricing depends on the design, materials and number of fittings.

The process: consultation → design & materials → custom pattern and muslin fitting → production in our Catskill atelier → final fitting and delivery. Most custom pieces take 4–8 weeks; rush service is available for an additional 20%. Remote projects are possible with a helper and a measuring tape on video calls.
