We’re here to support small-batch makers with their businesses and to support customers in pursuit of a more sustainable wardrobe, which means we host trunk shows, pop-ups, clothing swaps and a knitting group in our shops; we teach sewing in our Catskill factory; and we also organize some other events just for the fun of it! Our events are inclusive for all who wish to learn, make friends and have a good time, and we hope you’ll join us—

Visible Mending Workshop with Katrina Rodabaugh

Hudson Valley textile artist and author Katrina Rodabaugh is a good friend and client of ours, and we’re so excited to host her in our beautiful Catskill shop for a 3-hour Visible Mending workshop this fall. She teaches only a few times a year — and space is limited — so this is a special opportunity!

Saturday Sept 20, 2-5pm, Catskill

Open Sewing Studio

Whether you’re a beginner, a home sewer or a budding designer, our open-studio sessions are a chance for you to sew in good company and to develop your skills. An expert instructor is on hand to help with whatever you might need — from learning to sew, to altering garments, adjusting a pattern, or even patterning your own design. Limit 6 sewers per week.
(For private 1-on-1 sewing lessons, book here.)

Mondays 5:30-8:30 & Saturdays 2:00-5:00, in our Catskill factory

(Please note the factory is a second-floor walk-up and thus is not ADA accessible.)

Knitting Circle

Bring whatever you’re working on these days (knitting, crochet, embroidery, hand-sewing ...) and join the fun in our beautiful Catskill shop, where we’ve got a wall of yarns and crafting supplies for you. For knitting help, whether you are a first-time knitter or more advanced, Cecilia from Nor’Easter Yarns is here for you. And there’s even food and drink available from our café. Come stitch, shop, eat and enjoy!
(Join our knitting group on WhatsApp here.
