From idea to finished garment

Every custom project begins with a conversation. We walk with you through every stage — from the first sketch to the final fitting — so the result feels just right.

01 — Consultation We talk through your vision, lifestyle, and how you want to feel in the garment. This is billed at $160/hr and credited to your estimate.

02 — Design & Materials We develop a design direction and source fabrics that suit your aesthetic and values.

03 — Pattern & Fit A custom pattern is drafted to your measurements, with a muslin fitting to refine the shape.

04 — Production Your piece is cut and sewn in our Catskill, NY studio by our experienced in-house team.

05 — Final Delivery We finish, press, and deliver your garment — ready to wear and built to last.

Simpler pieces — a tailored dress or a structured trouser — tend to fall toward the lower end of that range. More complex projects like wedding dresses and suits involving intricate construction, specialty fabrics, or multiple iterations sit higher. Every project includes a consultation, custom pattern, muslin fitting, and final production in our Hudson Valley studios.

Do I need to know exactly what I want before reaching out? Not at all. Many clients come to us with a feeling, a reference image, or just a sense of what they don't want. We're experienced at helping you find the right direction.

How long does a custom project take? Timelines vary by complexity, but most custom pieces are completed within 4 to 8 weeks from initial consultation to delivery. We do offer rush services for an additional 20% charge.

Is custom garment development sustainable? Made-to-order is one of the most sustainable forms of fashion — nothing sits unsold, and every piece is made with intention. We prioritize natural and low-impact materials whenever possible.

Where are you located? Our meetings are held at our atelier in Catskill, NY.

Can you work remotely? It's less than ideal, but we have made it happen. You just need someone to assist you in virtual video calls with a measuring tape.
