Asymmetric Shirtwaist Dress in Black with Black and White Plaid Skirt (Reworked)

For the newest dress style for our Made X Reworked line, we’re sourcing men’s shirts from a local social-justice thrift store, Thrift2Fight, and breathing new life into them. Each design is slightly different and of course starts with a different shirt. This one combines a men’s button-down black shirt with black and white plaid cotton gauze for a flowing shirtdress with an asymmetrical slant waistline and hemline. One sleeve is a cape sleeve continuation of the skirt; the other sleeve is the original long shirt sleeve.
