Quite Literally Our Biggest Project Yet: Transgender Pride Flag for Big Gay Hudson Valley

Project: Giant Transgender Pride Flag
Client: Big Gay Hudson Valley
Time frame: Spring 2025

This Spring we had the honor of working on a factory project very near and dear to our hearts. Big Gay Hudson Valley had approached us about sewing one of the world's largest Transgender Pride flags, which we did, and it made its debut at the Pride in the Sky parade on the Walkway Over the Hudson on May 18th. This flag is 125 feet long and 16 feet wide — that’s about 10 times as long as our cutting table and roughly 3 times the length of our space! And it’s easily one of our proudest accomplishments.

As you can see from the photos, it took dozens of people to carry it. And we’re pleased to share that it will continue to be carried at Pride events throughout the Hudson Valley this season, and hopefully beyond. BGHV said "Thank you [Made X Hudson] for constructing this giant symbol of resistance as we all come together for Pride!" We say thank you to BGHV for trusting us to make this happen.

What can we make for you?
