Dressing for the holidays can mean a wide range of things, from casual to formal, and from at-home to on-the-town. Today, we want to talk about the cozy gatherings — the big family feasts that pop up from Thanksgiving through New Year’s Day and points in between. When you’re with family and friends, you can typically get away with more casual attire, and you want to be comfortable for all the sitting and eating involved. But you also want at least some semblance of special-occasion feeling, right?
We have the simplest possible formula for you: Elastic-waist pants and a nice sweater. For the pants, we have 3 gender-neutral options: our polished MXH Jogger Pants or Wide-Leg Pants, and Brosgé’s slightly more casual Studio Pants. Pick the style and fabric that best suits you, then pair it with a coordinating sweater.
